Peter's brief for this challenge was as follows:

One of the most difficult jobs we had was from an advertising agency who's client was 'Harry Winston' fine jewelry.
***The brief was 'Still Life' of their various pieces of their very expensive JEWELERY set into/draped over or presented in some way with FRUIT - VEGETABLES - PLANTS - FLOWERS.***

Patrick Lichfield was not known for his Still Life work but he had creative ideas. Even so it was a difficult job to transfer his ideas into actual photographs and it took us a long time to complete the assignment. Some worked well which the client liked - for example a diamond ring slipped onto an asparagus 'finger' but some photos didn't work and were never used.
The brief is now handed over to the Algarve Photographers Group to undertake this assignment and in their own time, produce at least 6 final images on a USB memory stick for projector presentation
These should be taken as if the photographs were going to appear in top end magazines like Vogue or Vanity Fair etc. as adverts for jewelry.
Unfortunately we cannot supply Harry Winston Jewelry or pay the fees that were charged to the advertising agency by Lichfield but the challenge to our members is there to complete.
