On October 5th 15 people showed up for the trip to Alvor Airfield, organised by Govert. After the security checks all were able to enter the grounds and enjoy the spectacle. A couple of members tried to book a parachute flight but unfortunately it did not happen. Small groups were able to visit the Observation Tower, where just one man works a six hour shift with all the responsibility for flights and parachutists. It was interesting watching and listening to him at work and made for an enjoyable afternoon.
