Neil Adamson (APG Support Role)
Neil Adamson was born in Teesside, England, 1947. He now lives permanently in the eastern Algarve near to Olhao. He became interested in photography at the age of 11 when he would photograph steam trains with a “box camera”. His first serious camera was an “Asahi Pentax S1a” using Kodak Ektachrome colour film it enabled him to take a greater variety of images. The industrial backdrop of Teesside provided plenty of interesting shooting opportunities. Today, with film being replaced by the digital age, he now works with a Nikon Coolpix P510. His main interest is “Outdoor photography” including wild life and Macro; the final image produced with the minimum of manipulation.
